Turneffe Atoll, Belize
Be Pampered In Paradise

Turneffe Flats has long been recognized as Belize's premier saltwater fly fishing, scuba diving and marine ecotourism destination. Located on Turneffe Atoll - the largest and most biologically diverse atoll in the Caribbean - we provide superior flats fishing, diving, snorkeling, and eco-adventure experiences for a limited number of guests. We have already reserved a week, November 16 - 23, 2024, and started taking reservations for Turneffe Flats in Belize, targeting Bonefish, Permit & Tarpon! Captain "Red ED" first visited Turneffe Flats in January 2012 and can't wait to return to one of his favorite fishing destinations! Space is very limited for this epic adventure, so please contact us ASAP at or give us a call at 352-476-1998 for all details.

For 40 years, Turneffe Flats has been recognized as one of the world's finest saltwater destinations where it's very possible to catch a Grand Slam of Tarpon, Permit & Bonefish all in the same day! Turneffe's crystal clear, firm-bottom, wadeable flats offer daily opportunities for tailing bonefish and permit. Additionally, large migratory tarpon inhabit Turneffe's creeks, channels and flats between April and October, with resident tarpon available throughout the year. Snook, trigger fish, barracuda, snapper, jacks, and several other species, round out an exceptionally diverse fishery.

Awaken in your air-conditioned beachfront cabana to a stunning tropical seascape, expansive bonefish flats, and the sound of surf breaking over the coral reef. The entire 250 square-mile Turneffe Atoll, with pristine flats, healthy corals and rich marine life is yours to enjoy.

Atoll Adventurers choose from a variety of daily guided activities led by Abel Coe or one of the other experienced Atoll Adventure guides, all of whom are informative and fun. Their 25-foot canopied boat is at your guide's disposal for exploring the reefs, mangroves, creeks and lagoons that make Turneffe the largest and most biologically diverse atoll in the Caribbean. Turneffe's warm Caribbean waters, extensive sea life and vibrant corals make snorkeling a must-do activity during your visit. Their guides are masters at helping everyone feel comfortable in the water and beginners can learn to snorkel on the sandy shore before visiting the reef. With at least 60 species of birds at Turneffe, birding is another highlight.  You may also want to tour the atoll looking for manatees and dolphins or enjoy an afternoon of kayaking. Their Atoll Adventure program is very flexible and is tailored to fit the particular interests of each group.
